On one particular scene, he gives the freshmen a motivational speech which basically summarizes into that being number one matters the most as nobody remember the rest that follows by. We could see his chase for perfection not only through the previous example but through his interaction with Joy Lobo. When Joy Lobo has presented Mr. Viru with a high potential device, Mr. Viru shuts it down completely without looking at the possibility of what this device could bring. Although Joy Lobo has given a valid reason behind his late progress, Mr. Viru is uninterested. Mr.Viru, was proven wrong by Ranchod as the device did work and it could potentially bring so many advantages to the world, however the death of Joy Lobo masks this realization for Mr. Viru. During the rising action of the movie, it has been revealed that the son of Mr. Viru has committed suicide instead of a train accident as what has been previously told.
