3 Day Healthy Eating Log
After taking and recording the 3-day healthy eating log I found out that eating healthy is much harder than it seems, first I found hard to think what should I eat and second to avoid the things that I really wanted to eat meat. I tried my best to do a healthy 3 days log but during the 3 days, I was constantly hungry so the number of snacks increased, but I tried to have healthy snacks that didn't have sugar or salt. It was easy to get the food, because, my mother always buy a good variety of food and she love being the chef of the home, and she always bought a lot of food to prepared, so for her it was fun trying to change the diet, and learning about nutrients and some facts that we had to learn in class.

Common Health Problems in Laramie County and State Comparison Laramie County has several health-related issues shown in the statistics provided by the Laramie County Comprehensive Needs Assessment. Obesity Laramie County’s obesity rate is 28% of the population and Wyoming’s obesity rate of 25%; it is clear, Laramie County’s statistics show room for improvement (2015).…

Over the course of this class, I have learned many new things about diet, health, and proper nutrition for a long life. Without learning these very important things, I may have just continued on my old diet, which was not healthy in the least. I have now seen a real proper diet, complete with all different food groups and everything in between. I am grateful for this class, because otherwise, I would probably still have that unhealthy diet. Nutrition taught me a lot, and I am ready now to follow all that it taught me, and I think I have the knowledge now to teach the people around me about it too.…

From a young age, my parents have always enforced the idea of eating healthy constantly badgering me to eat my vegetables or have a piece of protein with my meals. Although I might not have understood why their reprimanding was important, over the course of these last few weeks in biology I have come to realize that having a sound diet in many ways encompasses what it means to be healthy and live life to its fullest. By actively moderating, recording, and learning about what I have been eating I can now clearly understand that my parents were right to encourage healthy eating in my home. My parent, specifically my mother, was always the one who cooked and influenced my healthy eating at a young age. When looking at my food logs for this…
