Millions of people had been killed during the holocaust due to Hitler and his Nazi army but many more had suffered in other ways. Anne Frank, her family and four other people had spent 25 months in hiding due to Hitler and his crucial concentration and labor camps fearing their lives. The drama written by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett told the story of the 8 people living in fear for 25 long months which was supposed to only be a few weeks. Many historical events during world war 2 had affected the characters in Anne Frank such as change in mood and behavior during the 25 months they spent in the secret annex.
