I selected this particular topic, because I have always had an interest in the “2030 Mission to Mars”, and as a child, I dreamt of being one of the few selected for this historical mission to Mars. Therefore, it immediately came to my mind when the prompt mentioned 2040; mainly due to the fact that if colonists land on Mars around 2030, then it will take years of production to establish a sustainable colony (environment with renewable resources). At last, I trust that it will be of great interest to the people of the United States around the years of 2040.
