Firstly, I want to learn to manage my time effectively and my approach to this is to allocate all my time using a chart. I have broken down my week into different activities which include, school, sleep, exercise, studying and free time [Figure 1]. I am giving this strategy a try because, during this term, I noticed that sometimes I would come home and sit around and do nothing since I did not have any plans and this often lead to procrastination. Moreover, I would often spend too much time on a certain assignment since I knew I had the whole day, but if I mapped out my week, I would learn to work more effectively with the time constraint. For instance, instead of taking 4 hours on an assignment, I could get it done in two hours if I had the correct mindset. Secondly, I have looked a little into design teams at waterloo such as formula Electric and the Waterloo Submarine Racing Team and I am interested in joining one. Joining a smaller design team would give me larger responsibilities and I would learn more here at the university of waterloo. I would be responsible for designing certain components and actually apply engineering. My third goal is for my personal well-being and it is to enforce physical activity in my weekly routine. Like I mentioned, in high school I was very active and had the time to participate in teams and clubs, but I have been very busy in university and have gotten sick numerous times. How I plan to achieve this to find a workout buddy such as a student or one of my roommates and develop a schedule to get enough physical activity. Lastly, I have created a chart where it shows important time periods such as exams, so I can plan myself ahead of time. [Figure
