1. What does this story say about people?
What this story is saying about people is that sometime our problems look hopeless because we have been dealing with it for many years. But no matter how trapped we feel in our problem, God is there and will minister to our deepest needs. People should never let a problem or hardship cause them to lose hope. As, we can see this man was dealing with a problem for 38 years. If he can get healed so can we.

What this story is saying about Jesus is that Jesus can heal us at any time. It does not matter what day of the week it is or where we are at. Jesus will come to us. Jesus showed us in this story that if we are obedient, then He will heal us. Doing this
