The nurse asked Jennifer to come into a cubical and remove her shoes tights so that the doctor could examine the injury. It’s also important to show dignity as she will feel respected and be comfortable when she is shown that she is cared for. If she is not shown dignity she may be disgusted at the quality of care. It’s important to be treated with dignity and respect as you feel better and more comfortable with the people who are helping you. Dignity is a result of being treated with respect and honour.
