How information is communicated 2.1
Four core methods of communication:
• Oral
• Written
• Visual
• Electronic
Oral communication, otherwise referred to as ‘vocal’ communication, mainly happens through face to face communication, or a telephone conversation. It is efficient, cheap and offers a greater deal of understanding and interpretation; however, there will be no written record of what is said.
Core forms of written communication:
• Business Letters
• Memos
• Agendas & Minutes
• Reports
• Business Cards
• Trading Documents (Invoices & Order Forms)
Using this form of communication will always provide a record, it is often used as a formal way of communication which is often accurate, however producing and storing them can be costly.
Core forms of visual communication:
• Posters
• Flyers
• Graphs and Tables
• Advertisements

The format of the document has been well thought The advertisement, as shown previous, would be used mainly for informing people of the new Grooming Service planned to be open by Perfect Pets, it would need to be placed in several locations within the public eye to achieve its purpose of informing people of the grooming service.
In order for people to pay attention to the advertisement, aesthetics are a key factor. Professionalism must be maintained within the document whilst also being eye catching and easy on the eye. To do this the colour format was kept simple, the Perfect Pets logo was added along with different fonts to catch the eye. The formatting and different sections within the document show clearly what is being advertised through the use of clear and easy to read language.
This document could be used by Perfect Pets to help maximise and maintain profits made by the grooming part of their
