As all of that continued, the UN agreed to send 8600 troops to Kigali, to protect the citizens, but they were still arguing about the price and who will pay for all the weapons and transports. There was still no protection till the 22nd of June, when the French forces from South west, came to help the Tutsi’s. Later, the UN troops finally came in July to take the French forces’ place but they were being massacred by the Hutus as well.
More people were being killed at their homes and refugee camps and even on the streets, they were mostly targeting the children because they were the new generation of the Tutsis. Most of the Tutsi’s women were being raped and used in sex slavery.
Months later the UN called off their people while the slaughter was still happening. Finally, Tutsi lebeler that were called the Rwandan Patriotic Front (FPR) managed to stop the genocide. UN did not do anything to stop the genocide from happening, even other people from all around the world who were watching that happen in the news, did not do anything. In the end approximately nearly 1,000,000 Tutsis were killed in the massacre, and the Hutu leaders that caused the massacre, are still being searched
