Have you ever heard the song “I always feel like, somebodys watching me” ? The great hit of 1984 by Rockwell is a great representation of how it 's like to live with paranoia. The song mentions things like bolting their door shut, being afraid to close their eyes while washing their hair in the shower-fearful someone will be standing there when they reopen, and questioning if the people on TV can see him. The artist also says things like “I don 't feel safe anymore” and “I have no privacy”. People with this condition feel this way constantly.
“Everyone is looking at me, do you see them? They 're all talking about me I just know it”. “People are out to get me, they want to hurt me”. People with paranoia think that others want to hurt them; either psychologically, emotionally, physically or financially. It could be one person, a group of people, an organisation, event or object that they feel threatened by. The thing is, there is no reason for suspiciousness; It 's all in their head. Living in constant fear is something these people have to deal with.

Let’s face it, some people are just mean- But don 't worry about if they are talking or looking at you, there opinions are irrelevant.
