In today's modern world of technology I feel that we are slowly approaching the time that is described dreadfully in the book 1984. With all these smart devices and front facing cameras it's almost as evident to be the telescreen always watching you. Is anything in our life really a secret or does some part of what we communicate or experience leaked out or noted? These are questions that really make us reflect on 1984 and what they feel about having privacy or freedom to do anything. Freedom is just something we made into a word to make it seem like we have all free will over any and everything, at least that's what it's like in 1984 and could be how it turns out in the real world.
To really look at it as turning into such a time we have to see all the signs that seem to be showing themselves. Signs that consist of us having more and more cameras placed everywhere even in the places we least expect them like the top of any iPhone above the listening speaker. Also they have invented a wiretap for busting any crimes such as planting bugs in certain rooms or chips right in the memory of your phone. This raises the question of “are we really free” or “I wonder what place doesn't have a microphone in it
