I think a reason I enjoyed it so much was just the theme surrounding the story. To me, the theme was to not despise or hate others solely based on their background. Mahmoud and …… Learned to live with each other and actually grew fond of each other, even though neither party would agree. They surpass their differences and were able to become close. I generally just really enjoyed this play. From the lighting to the set to the sound. Everything was superb. Lighting was dead on, the sound booth did a great job with the noises they chose, and I thought it was brilliant to have fresh bread on the stage since they were trying to imitate a bakery. Compared to the Seafarer, I thought this play outweighed the other one in terms of impact. The fact that it didn’t end in a happy ending, I think just made it that much more powerful. People typically like to go see comedies in plays but I believe that tragedy is just as important. This story spoke out to many, as I even saw ladies coming out crying and hugging the cast, so I believe people should try to make an attempt to come see the show and if it’s too late then I'm sorry that they missed it because the missed out on an amazing
