INTP According to the 16 Personalities Test, I am categorized as an INTP. If we breakdown this acronym we find that the “I” stands for introvert, the “N’ stands for intuitive, the “T” stands for thinking, and “P” stands for perceiving. At first glance, I thought that these descriptions were too general. After reading into my personality, I agree with almost everything the website had to say. It is sort of unsettling to see a website describe me better than I ever could. According to the 16 Personalities website, I am a “logician”. This means that I perceive most of the aspects of life through logic. According to the 16 personalities website, INTPs only make up around three percent of the population. I find this hard to believe. I would

According to the Jung Typology Test, I have the personality type "INTJ". This indicates that I am mostly an introverted, thinking, and judging personality. While I consider these characteristics to be natural tendencies that I have, it is important for me to remember to avoid using labels as excuses for who I am in the flesh. I have a "moderate preference of introversion over extraversion" (humanmetrics.com) according to the test. I am shy and reserved around most people, and I often find a lot of group interaction stressful.…

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator personality assessment is a psychometric questionnaire that helps individuals discover their personality or psychological type. After answering a series of questions, the results are compiled to determine if the person is sensing (S) or intuitive (I) , thinking (T) or feeling (F), introverted (I) or extroverted (E), judging (J) or perceiving (P). With the fore mentioned possible trait combinations, there are sixteen personality types possible. The test concluded that I could be four of the personality types due to the extremely slight percentage difference within two of the traits. Results showed I am 67% extraverted, 1% sensing, 1% thinking, and 33% judging.…

Personality indicators or assessments can be an eye opener for a person who is not completely knowledgeable or truthful about his or her own personality traits. Personalities do tend to differ based on the various things such as the time of the week, time of the day, awareness, and even physical appearances. Personally, I feel my personality is acceptable and can improve, but with the help of a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and a Big Five Personality Model, I have a new form of identity for myself. First, Robbins and Judges identified extraverted individuals as “outgoing, sociable, and assertive” and introverted individuals as “quiet and shy”. Prior to taking the indicators and assessments I would have identified myself as both in some ways…

INTP are not very social people, they are analytical. They seek to understand why things happen. Sometimes their critical thinking and deep analytical tendencies may make them seem oblivion to what is happening around them. Such character traits may have a significant influence on their career choices and approach to life in general (Humanmetric, 2018). I have taken the test several times.…

The percentage I received for each of the letters ISTJ were (I) 12%, (S) 6%, (T) 1%, and (J) 16%. Assessments are designed to determine whether there is a problem, distinguish an individual strengths and weaknesses, predict the future course of disorders, classify the problem and provide useful tips for intervention. Clinicians use these ideas to assess the clients’ behavior by a set of guided questions. The Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI) is a self-administered tool that provides information relevant to the clinical diagnosis, treatment and screenings for psychopathology (Morey, 2012). This assessment was created as an alternative to the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory that was designed to assess abnormal personality traits. The PAI was designed to be easily scored by hand and is characterized by a 344 item Likert scale…

The four letters that I got on my MBTI assessment were INTP. I stands for introvert, N stands for intuitive, T stands for thinking, and P stands for perceiving. Of all my letters, the I and the T were the least surprising to me. I scored 92% for my level of introversion, and 66% thinking. This was not shocking to me at all, because even as a child I have always been the reserved, philosophizing type preferring books over people, ideas over reality, and logic…

The Myers Briggs type Indicator personality profile is a test, I did online. The results I received after the test was ISFJ. I for introversion that was twelve percent, which means that I am “inward tuning” and tend to be thought oriented, enjoy deep and meaningful social interactions, and feel recharged after spending time alone. Next was S for sensing which was six percent, it means that people who prefer sensing tend to pay a great deal of attention to reality, particularly to what they can learn from their own senses. The way we are usually goes hand in hand with the environment we find/found ourselves in, such as the environment we grew up in. Most of us are familiar with horoscopes and we’ve most likely read the descriptions under our zodiac signs to see if what it says matches us, some descriptions are scarily accurate and some are just out of proportion. Similar to horoscopes, the Hexaco personality test had some spot on descriptions on how I am, but it had some that I strongly disagree with. I grew up in a very free and sociable environment in Mexico. I lived in a ranch with a small amount of population, and I knew most of them by the age of three.…
