16 and Pregnant is a reality show that is based off of teen pregnancy and motherhood. The first episode that premiered had 2.1 million viewers. The season finale pulled over 5.6 million viewers. Teen mom reduced the number of teen pregnancies 4 years after the show premiered. "16 and Pregnant" ultimately led to a 5.7% reduction in teen births in the 18 months after its premiere on TV. The show shows how teens have to battle challenges like going to Finances, job, child and relationship problems. Limitations on social life. Teens who watch 16 and pregnant has unrealistic views on teenage pregnancy.
