15pm-Irtc Case Summary

3:15pm- IRTC spoke with the source who confirmed the narrative an expressed that the subject child’s injuries were observed today, but there appeared to be fading. Source voiced that the subject child’s mother had pictures of the injuries and there were more visible and concerning. Source expressed that the child is currently at the Brooklyn CAC being assessed by the medical team. Source voiced that this case will be assigned to Detective Palmer from the Brooklyn CAS.

3:30pm- IRTC spoke with Detective Palmer who reported that he has this case and the subject child was already interviewed at the Brooklyn CAC. Detective Palmer said due to the subject child’s age, he was very limited in his verbiage and unable to confirm if he was physically assaulted by the alleged subject. Detective Palmer articulated that he is planning on going to the daycare tomorrow; the child is currently being medically assess at the Brooklyn CAC. IRTC expressed that this case will be enhanced to an IRT due to the child’s age and present circumstances of this investigation.

3:45pm- IRTC spoke with CPSS, Julia Brown, and assigned CPS, Leslie Johns, and informed them that this case will be enhanced to an IRT.
