Dear 14 year old Caleb, You will make a lot of mistakes in your highschool years, but over all you’ll be alright. It’s going to be tough. You’re going to stay up all night all night working on homework because you didn’t get home until 11 from the game and then still have school the next day, but you’ll be alright. You will forget your homework at school and then have to do an entire assignment in the ten you have before first hour starts, but you’ll be alright. I would greatly encourage you to take the next few minutes and read the rest of my letter. I hope that I can give you a few tips that will help you in your high school years.
Don’t let people cheat off you. You will later on have to compete will these people for scholarships and other opportunities, because you got their good grade for them

Try to get along with mom and dad better. If you can’t possibly realize you might be wrong just talk to them. They will explain why you are wrong or realize that they are wrong and admit it. They are somewhat reasonable people.
Don’t take Benadryl for allergies before school. You will fall asleep.
Record your volunteer hours.
Don’t think that your grades are good enough for you to not study for exams. It will burn you.
Try to avoid getting in fights. If you do keep your hands up, because broken noses don’t feel good.
Don’t mess with Mrs. Carey. She will destroy you. If you could just use a few of these tips it will make your life a lot easier. If you don’t follow any of these tips you’ll still be alright. Even if you think you have the worst life in the world and you’re not going to make it, you will. Trust me.
