Every day in our nation theres and average of over 5,240 attempts of suicide by gradeds between 7-12 graders. The title of the book I read was 13 reasons why by Jay Asher. The symbole of the book is the color Blue wich represents depression. The main character of the book is Clay Jensen, He had a crush on the girl that commited suicide Hannah Baker. Hannah Backer was a girl that go bullied a lot at school so she ended up getting depressed and committed suicided. She talked on these really old vhs tapes and gave them to every person for the reasons she killed her self.
This is a quote from Clay Jenson "who would send me a shoe box full of audio tapes? No one listens to tapes anymore. Do I even have a way to play them." (6) Hannah sent a box
