A weakness that I have is that I do not know how to say no to individuals that ask me for help since I love to help people. It is important that I learn to say no when helping others gets in the way of me accomplishing my tasks. It is important that I do both, but not when I run the risk of not meeting my deadlines and me staying late hours after work to get my work done. It has not been an easy task saying no, but I am learning to be okay with saying no because it is important that it does not interfere with my responsibilities.…

Part I – Analysis in Academic Literature In the execution of a properly articulated position in academia, there must be a clear distinction made between what is considered descriptive writing versus critical writing. While in the presentation of an argument, it may become necessary to use descriptive language to allow for a steady basis upon which to build an argument, descriptive language does nothing beyond list facts and figures. An example of the implementation of descriptive writing in the building of an argument for or against some topic, is a discussion on whether abortion is “moral” or not. If one were to be descriptive, one would list either the benefits or the consequences found by empirical data and list them ad nauseam.…

I was just a small freshman, scared, nervous, and excited about my new adventure at a whole new school with a lot more people. I started off the first semester really strong, ending it with above a 3.0 GPA. Right before the second semester started I lost two very close and influential people in my life that I always looked up to as they helped guide me in my life and wanted me to reach for the moon. Getting the news that my Grandma had passed away from old age and my Aunt dying from a heart attack just a couple weeks later is just the worst thing anybody can ever hear, especially if they were your role models. They were the ones who influenced me to become an accountant and become a CPA, they helped guided me to take the correct classes in school and what I needed to learn and focus on.…

From the time I was born, I was raised in a Christian home, we went to church every Sunday morning. We all ate dinner at and table together as a family and prayed before we ate. I did not fully understand the concept of my faith when I was a child. I knew there was a heaven where God was, and then there was hell where the devil resided.
