People connect the word strength with being physically strong. Strength is know as the capacity to lift weights, or cause a knock out with one single blow. It comes from muscle-building and winning fights. That is why I’ve never considered myself to be strong, or able to show any strength at all. Being proven wrong, I have found that strength is much more than being physically fit; strength is showing courage when something terrifies you, its being able to defend your beliefs, or never giving up when things get hard.
Being courageous enough to do something shows your true strength. My mother, Maria Antonia Rebollar, is someone that shows courage through the actions she has done to make a living in the United States. Living in Mexico, my mother’s

Not being able to control the left side of his body and obtaining memory lose, Cory Weissman begins to question his fate (citation). After struggling with himself and his condition, Cory Weissman begins to take back control of his life and continues to fight for his recovery (citation). After being off of the basketball team, he becomes determined to get back on the team and play again (citation). With the little ability to run, he continues to push himself to gain more mobility and gain a high chance to make the team (citation). He begins to have a seizure that sets him back; however, he continues to fight knowing that he cannot control the occurrence of another seizure (citation). Being the man Weissman is he never gives up, and realizes that he has the potential to get what he wants with hard work and determination. After this sense of realization, he decides to help people and inspire them to do the same and never give up
