The year was 1986, the time, 2:14. It was the last day of school, senior year. As I finish my level at Pacman, I see my friend, John Jackson, an aspiring bass guitarist. He plays the rhythm in the jazz ensemble at school, but he could shred that bass like there was no tomorrow. “Hey! Wait up!” I shout, trying to get his attention. He turns around and greets me.
“Hi! I haven’t seen you all day. Where were you?” he asks curiously.
“I turned in all the work to my teachers yesterday, that’s why I came home late. Without any work, I cleaned up around the arcade and made some cash to pay for my new strings plus a 50 pack of guitar picks.” I explained.
“Cool.” He responds
“Speaking of which, Tom (Tom is our drummer) and I were going to jam out later

The very next thing to do, was to book us a reunion tour. But we made it about three quarters through our 100 concert tour, and we all couldn’t be happier. But I couldn’t remember why I left. It was confusing me all night so I decided to ask. “Hey, John, What happened when I left?” I ask solemnly.
“We were writing a new song, and we couldn’t quite agree, so right then you smashed everything in a fit of rage and stormed out. I went to go throw away a wrapper, when I noticed all of the bottles in the trash. I had become an alcoholic. I had put everyone in danger. The rest of the tour was full of temptations, by I managed. To this day I have not consumed a drop of alcohol, to avenge our best friend, Killed by a drunk driver. For the rest of us, well, Tom barely spent any of his money, but went on to produce the movie, American History X, a film about a neo nazi, who recovers from being a neo

When we revealed that is was us, our sales skyrocketed through the roof. I almost doubled my money. Of course, I gave a lot of it charity.
“Guy’s, I have something for you to see.”
We all knew what It meant. He had to fight in the war in Afghanistan. It was the news we were expecting some time soon. A few weeks later we said our goodbyes and they sent him packing.
“Hey man, I’m gonna miss him.” John said
“Yeah, he was a good friend. What did he do in the army anyway?” I responded
“He was a para-rescuer. They drop him into dangerous territory. They risk their lives to save others.” He explained.
“I hope he’s alright.”
But Leo never did make it out of Afghanistan. And as for John, he became a lawyer to avenge his best friend’s death. He succeeded and died of natural causes. And as for me, I lived out the rest of my days in peace, surrounded in
