What to do About Obesity
There are many things people can do to fight obesity. One of the things would be to lose weight in a healthy way. Losing weight can be challenging, especially if people are not used to eating a healthy diet. To begin with, one thing that needs to be done is no more going out to fast food restaurants no matter how stressed or difficult life gets. The reason it is important to not eat out as much is because all the foods in restaurants are processed so individuals do not really know what is in the food they are eating. The documentary “10 Things You Need To Know About Losing Weight” gave a great example they said if someone is using a twelve inch plate to replace it with a ten inch plate. The people using a ten-inch plate will have a twenty-two percent chance of eating less. They were able to back this information up by showing an experiment they did with people at a theater. Basically what they did was give one-half of the people a small container of popcorn, and the other half one of the bigger ones. They made sure to tell everyone that they could have as much popcorn as they wanted, and sure enough the people with the big container of popcorn ended up eating more because they could not stop themselves from eating because the popcorn was right in front of them.
