1.What are the Miranda warnings and why are those provisions important?
You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law, you have the right to a lawyer, if you cannot afford a lawyer one will be given to you, do you understand the rights I have just read to you, with these rights in mind do you wish to speak to me. Those provisions are important because it protects a person's right not to self-accuse himself. That is why a suspect who is in possession by the police must be informed of his or her rights before any police questioning. If the police do not read a suspect his or her Miranda rights, the lawyer (who tries to prove someone guilty) can't use.
2.Can police go outside your house to search for trash? Is it compatible to collecting urine or blood?

Justice cannot win with required sentencing. Justice wins when a person is given a legal punishment that considers all parts of the case presented, without any concern about past offenses. For example, it is unfair when a person ends up with life sentence after being caught with a small amount of pot for the third time. These laws allow for non-violent law-breakers to do maximum amounts of jail time for dearly small charges. In the long run, these criminals end up causing the state more money by being put in jail instead of being put on
