Growing up I had a slow-paced life, and my attention span was longer. I was homeschooled, and I was not allowed to have a cell phone or iPod. We did not own a x-box or Wii, and computer games were a very special privilege for rainy days. When I use social media, it feels so fun to see what my friends did that day, I feel as if I am part of their lives and I get to enjoy it with them. And when I see something that I don’t like I can simply log out or keep on scrolling. It so effortless and carefree that I often turn to social media to when I'm feeling down, or when I'm bored. I don’t have to think about my failures, instead I can focus on someone else's life and feel happy. There is no stress, anxiety, or depression on Facebook, if someone post about these things they're just looking for attention.
