I think distinction is the ability to tell the difference between copying and being an original artist of all forms of media. I think the viewer of the piece is the person who ultimately determines the difference because everyone is able to comprehend an art piece differently and it also affects the viewer. No I don’t think one is wrong and the other is right because there is media everywhere and if one was right and one is wrong we would never have the amount of media that helps our daily lives such as having news online or in person because if one copied the other a lot of people would uninformed because everyone tunes into different news station and pages. I feel that artists of all forms should have the freedom to borrow from another artist because it is always hard to come up with new ideas if a writer has writers block, the artist could read other material and get inspired and get more …show more content…
I would hire a great marketing team to promote and get as many people excited for the release to make sure people would want to go out and see it to bring in more profit. I also think my movie would not be overpriced because there are so many ways of profit such as box office, rentals and online DVD downloads. I would feel very disappointed in the any pirated versions but as long as I made at least some of the profit I think I would still be happy because I was still doing something that I am and was so passionate about. Also if someone made a pirated version online of my movie I think I would still be ok if the movie that I created and enjoyed making still brings joy to the amount of people watching it whether it was by the box office, rentals and online DVD downloads or any pirated versions online. Although I take note of all the reasons explained such as movie script writer/producer who has just spent everything you own in the world to create your first big movie also the fact that my whole livelihood now depends on its success and the sales through the box office, rentals and online DVD
