It is formatted in APA and although obviously meant for an audience comprised of scholars and university educators it is still relatively easy to understand and follow along, thus making it a great starting point for a larger more in-depth research project. One excellent organizational tactic I found in this article was near the end, in a section titled “Overcoming Stereotypes,” where the stereotype correlations were confirmed and addressed with solutions listed out in order and in bold. The four mitigating ideas were laid out so simply that the findings of this article are able to reach a broader audience than just scholars and university educators; instead students, parents and the general public alike can access and consider this information before stereotyping business majors and their personality traits. The effectiveness of this level of simplicity and organization boosts the persuasiveness of this article because a larger audience can get behind it and therefore, have a greater impact on decreasing the stereotypical ideas between majors and personality.
