Many people believe that violence is influenced genetically, however i believe the opposite. Violence is all environmentally influenced. Violence occurs in schools because of environmental surroundings such as television, peers and parental influence. Humans have evolved to have an instinct for deadly violence Violence is an evolutionary trait that is developed over time. Lethal violence is considered by some to be mostly a cultural trait. It is widely acknowledged that evolution has shaped human violence. It is believed that violence is developed over time , because the paleolithic era was a quite peaceful time , quite different from the 21st century. Societies can also modify out innate tendencies. Rates of homicide in modern societies that have police forces, legal systems , prisons , and strong cultural attitudes that reject violence are less than one percent in 10,000 deaths or (0.01%), about 200 times lower than the authors’ predictions for our state of nature, the vast majority of people who kill & commit crimes or violence are men , it would be wrong to assume that men are hardwired to harm other people and things men are good at training to kill , it man give us slim consolation …show more content…
Some 80 percent of those killed are men and more than 97% of those who carry out homicides are men. Were turning young men into lethal combatist , it’s extremely time and resource consuming. These men were not born trigger happy and with weapons in their hand. Lethal weapons were available and commonplace as was the daily normalisation of and exposure to violence on the streets and in their homes. The vast majority of people who kill and commit acts of violence are men, but it would be wrong to assume that men are hardwired to harm others.
