With a great pang of effort he pulled the string back along with its massive payload. Along with the sound of the dirt shifting positions, came an incredible sound, unlike anything possible. A distant but majestic roar filled the sky as a scarred fully grown wyvern came into sight. It was massive, with glinting scales and a long tail. Barely seeable to the distant eye but the arched seemed not to care. After a small amount of repositioning, the bow was turned to its target.
