up with a criminal record. It has been said that tough love and punishment will help reduce our youth’s behavior, but I disagree. There is proof that if we open programs and give troubled children personal therapy their behavior changes. I think my community needs to tend to the youth’s bad behavior emotionally and physically more to help reduce the chances of them becoming criminals as adults. All it takes is attention, therapy, and giving them something else to focus on besides running in the streets. My community needs to open more programs and recreation centers for our youth. The problem is the children have nothing to do after school, on the weekends, and school breaks, which leads them to starting chaos between others. In Tampa Bay, FL the Tampa Bay Times explained how city hall opened a Stay and Play program in recreation centers for the summer. The goal was to reduce the outbreak of gun related violence after eighteen homicides occurred in the first half of the year. Opening this program at recreation centers for the youth resulted in fifth teen thousand two hundred and thirty-one kids attending, and no violence occurring that whole time. Mayor Bob Buckhorn quoted himself “Good numbers,” because they have seen children involving themselves, and so city hall has decided to extend the program for the school year. My community does not have such programs like these in our area, but I think it is time that we open one up. We must show our youth that we are here to help…

I visited the Tampa museum of art and discovered some very interesting and beautiful works of art. My favorite painting I came across was Lupins and Foxgloves on Indian Creek, Painted by Carolyn Brady in 1988. It was placed on the museum as a gift from the Bank of Tampa, in memory of Judith R Blanchard. It’s a watercolor painting on just plain paper. Depicting both land and sea shows how artists perceive and portray the natural world around them. From romantic depictions of the American…

As we get through OTA's and begin yet another preseason in Tampa Bay, we believe we have the right guys in place on defense. With the acquisitions of Vinny Curry, J.P.P., Mitch Unrein, and Beau Allen added to the defensive line, it adds the depth we have not had in a long time! The line will consist of Gerald McCoy and Vita Vea mainly at the DT position, with Unrein and Allen likely as reserves, but those two, just might end up playing a bigger role than anyone thinks! At the DE spots, we have…
