Watching the rain fall on “Dancing With the Stars” on Monday night had me a little nervous. Luckily the splashing was kept to a minimum and none of the audience got sprinkles. Still, it made me wonder. What would the producers think of next? Shaking while dancing (like an earthquake), wind (by bringing in dozens of fans) and the biggest possible element could be snow. As creative as the professional dancers are on the show, I wouldn’t be surprised if a few flakes would be falling before the end of the season. Shaquille O'Neal's Unaired Prank Show: ‘Shaq'd’ Shaquille O'Neal is awesome. And the fans love everything that he does. Which makes the understanding of his unaired prank show a little odd. A guest on “The Late, Late Show with James Corden” the popular athlete as part of a skit called “Shaq’d”. It was a hilarious look at how pranks go wrong when people recognize a celebrity. If you’re looking for a laugh today, check out the video clip. ‘Ellen Show’ producer books haunted house with Ariana Grande Every year Andy Lassner, the producer of “The Ellen Show” gets an assignment from Ellen DeGeneres that appears to scare him good. However, this year there will be two haunted houses with Ariana Grande going on the second trip. Typically, the chance to see someone get scared is funny. For some reason Andy is funnier than normal and in…

As the East and South Winds fight in killer-squalls deep in a mountain valley thrashing stands of timber, oak and ash and cornel with bark stretched taught and hard and they whip their long sharp branches against each other, a deafening roar goes up, the splintered timber crashing, so Achaeans and Trojans crashed, hacking into each other, and either side now had a thought of flight that would have meant disaster. (16. 889-896) In this simile, the Achaean and Trojan armies are the tenors. The…

The theme of my poem is Conflict with self. The essential question that I used was: What are the events in life that move individuals from innocence to experience. What influenced my theme was the fact that I am short and people tend to doubt your capabilities without knowing them; kind of like judging a book by its cover. I choose my poem to rhyme because I wanted it flow and be like a rap. The structure is traditional because it rhymes, and it is like a sonnet in that the rhyme schemes are the…

For example, when Huong writes about the disaster that the Land reform, a communist group, caused in the village, she says, “Land reform had ripped through the village like a squall, devastating fields and rice paddies, sowing only chaos and misery in its wake” (33). The author is comparing the “land reform” to have “ripped” meaning torn, shredded the village like a “squall” which is a storm. Like the land reform that “devastat[ed] fields” meaning that it destroyed the rice paddies, a squall…

single celled thunderstorms all together in one big line. All the different cells in a multi cell storm are at different stages of their life cycle that connect with one another to make a cluster of storms. Multi cell storms last longer than single celled storms by about double the time 30-60 minutes. As a multi cell is forming, new forming cells will start at the back of the cluster, with mature ones in the middle, and the weakening stage at the front. The weather that comes with these multi…

continued the false heir’s pension of thirty five dollars a month to her,”(121). In all of these situations, Chambers show generosity because he was born with a good nature. Nothing that happens in his life gives any reason for this, except that he was born that way.
