Everyone in school knows who Robin Hood as an outlaw in Sherwood Forest who fights by robbing from the rich and giving to the poor. This makes Robin a good hearted person to some and a thief to others. When we first get to know Robin, he is in love with a beautiful women, as Robin Hood progresses in the tale he is the leader of the yeomen that steals from the dishonest and helps whom he wishes. The start of the book majority focus on Robin encountering someone in the forest, and either fighting with them or inviting them for a great feast, after which they would be forced to pay for their dinner. First, let's talk about why the people of Nottingham and Sherwood Forest like Robin Hood so much. Robin is a great person to the honest hardworking people. Many people in Nottingham are thankful for Robin Hood because he is the “big brother” in the land. Robin Hood stands up against the law, because all the honest people get cheated out of their money, from friars and high ranking officers. In these times there was no middle class only two classes, the “rich and the poor.” About only ten percent of the population was rich and they ruled the land.
