    Once they feel safe and comfortable they may get near. A young girl from England was interviewed she happen to have a brain tumor and was very fragile. With excitement in her voice she said “I’m going to swim with the dolphins”. What she wasn’t aware of was that she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. However, the interviewer, felt that the young girl was aware of her condition, she seemed to accept that she was in her last stages of her life. She was going on a trip to Florida, which was given to her by the make a wish foundation. She would receive therapies. The benefits she would receive were to swim with dolphins. Either as part of her treatment or as a reward for completing a set of tasks. Dolphins are known to help people through their treatment, they give them a sense of relief and joy. The ultrasounds dolphins produce has mechanical or electro- mechanical effects on the endocrine system of humans, which makes it function in a positive manner (Judy Rollins). Spending a vast amount of time helped this young girl in the emotional aspect the interviewer didn’t keep in touch with her after, but they told her that for the girl it was something peaceful and magical; even though, this wasn’t going to help in her healing process she didn’t stop talking about her experience in her final days of life.
