There is a large amount of white space filled only by the kisses, the brand label, and the phrase “Merry Kisses and Happy New Year!” I think this jingle adds both a humorous and a sweet component to the ad. The text itself is presented in an easy-to-read font. The kisses themselves show clearly what is being advertised. Along with the appearance, your ad made several different emotional appeals. It spoke to the need for affiliation in that the ad does not present just one kiss standing by itself. It is a group of three. The general message of the ad (although subtle) is a sense of happiness and comradery. Your ad also speaks to the need for aesthetic sensations and the need to satisfy curiosity. If you have had a kiss before, you know the mouth-watering goodness that they represent. If you have never had a kiss before, your mind is allowed to wonder what might be inside those little shiny packages. Because of the magazine it is featured in, your ad has a predetermined audience. Mothers, fathers, and children would be likely to purchase this product. However, it is not limited to simply the stay at home type. Your ad could be marketed to people of any walk of life because of the simplicity of the presentation.
