In the post match interview, Romo said that he felt fine and Dallas Cowboys Owner, Jerry Jones, reaffirmed that statement. Later on after a MRI was taken, a break in his vertebra was discovered. This injury put him out for an estimated time of 8-10 weeks. The only difference about this injury is that the Cowboys had rookie Dak Prescott, as the backup quarterback. Prescott wasn’t picked until the 6th round of the NFL Draft. Many teams passed on the rookie quarterback, and their probably regretting it now. Prescott started off the season with a loss to the New York Giants. Since that game the Cowboys have been on a winning streak with a record of 11-1; that was until last weeks game. Just like the first time these two teams met this season, Prescott and the Cowboys were not able to beat the New York Giants. After Sundays game, there was talk on weather to let Prescott keep the number one position, or start veteran Tony Romo. Romo was cleared to play a few weeks ago, and Owner Jerry Jones decided not to change anything; which leaves Romo as the highest paid backup…

Dogs embody characteristics that we wish all humans could possess: unconditional love, joy, unabashed love of life, and never being one to rush to judgment. Dogs have a way of finding the people who need them, filling an emptiness we don 't even know we have. Ryder is my good boy. Ryder is an Australian Shepherd, who has coloring the same…

It all started one morning I was getting up and going in the kitchen to get coffee. I heard a silent groan and I got scared. I went and checked what it was and I saw a man who looked like he got burnt. So I slowly went back in my room and woke up my husband Junior. When I woke him up he was confused on why I was so scared. That’s when he sat up and asked me what happened. I froze in a dead because I was too scared. Then I started stuttering because I was trying to explain it. “I I I saw a guy…

“When I left that icy prison I’d no idea where north and south were but I did have two very strong convictions. One was that good novels must be a poetic transposition of reality, and the other was that mankind’s immediate future lay in socialism” (qtd. in Bloom 11). This is the essence of Gárcia Márquez. A man of hard principles and passionate imagination, he was born on March 6, 1928 in Aracataca, Columbia. His childhood years were marked by his relationships with his grandparents and his…
