How do we stop this from going too far and prevent further fat gains? Eating fewer calories is not the answer. Eating less sugar is. Calories do have some effect to your weight gains because eating too much obviously causes fat to become present. However, the main villain in this situation is excessive amounts of sugar. Eating foods that are higher in protein and contain lower amounts of carbs is the best way to start burning fat while not having to starve yourself with a severe calorie deficiency. This type of dieting is known as the low glycemic load diet, which basically means you don’t eat large amounts of sugar. There are hundreds of charts that focus on the glycemic index, but you don’t need anything fancy like that. Here are some tips for eating less sugar and dropping you insulin levels to normal:  Eat whole foods from protein and dietary fats  Consume less simple carbs and foods with preservatives  Drink 8 glasses of water a day instead of soda  Drink fruit juice sparingly and water it down when you do.  Eat less fruits with high sugar content  Have bags with healthy snacks available such as nuts  GROWTH HORMONE (GH) Growth hormones are quite abundant during our adolescent years.
