The NCAA has found countless ways to profit from these athlete’s performances and make millions and the players don 't see any of the profits. Huge Sporting Events THE NCAA Profits Off College bowl games are highly touted by people around the world more specifically in America. Bowl games have numerous sponsors regardless of who is playing in the game. This sponsorship can be seen all throughout the venue the NCAA has the teams hosting. The bowl games that are viewed the most are the Peach bowl, Orange Bowl, Cotton Bowl, Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, and the National Championship game. According to Joe Pinsker, a writer for the Atlantic, “ There are 40 bowl games this season, and every single one has at least one sponsor. Collectively, companies are estimated to spend roughly $100 million a year on the naming rights to these bowls”. This is just for naming rights, this doesn’t include the ticket sales, merchandising, or thing else that helps generate revenue.
