The Warrens spoken of in the poster are referring to are one of the world’s most known and respected paranormal investigators. The two were a married couple who worked closely together on several hauntings such as Amityville, the Annabelle doll, The Haunting and Connecticut, the Perron Family and The Enfield Poltergeist. Together they claimed to have investigated over ten thousand cases and one of their most famous investigations of the Perron Family are the events that transpire over the course of the movie.
