Ferry Beach State Park is located in Saco Maine, between Old Orchard Beach and Camp Ellis. The park is nestled on 117 acres of beautiful land ranging from forested areas with luscious trees, to white sand beaches. One of the most popular draws to the park are the hiking trails where you can spend an afternoon taking in the awe inspiring views of the different eco systems that have made themselves at home and flourished. The trails are littered with man-made bridges that perch you above the floor of the park where you can look over all the different types of plants, and moss that lay on the floor. You are eye level with most of the shrubs and have a beautiful elevated look of the trees where you can see more of the detail than you would with being on the ground. One of the glories about the park is that it offers visitors the ability to gaze upon rare trees, one of which being the Tupelo (Black Gum) tree, rare to Maine due to the latitude, and are one of the tallest trees in the area. There are also four different kinds of wetlands, and two nemesis plants. Weather varies day to day, it is effected by the seasons and is currently changing to reflect fall. Due to the unique hydrology at Ferry Beach State Park a Pocket Swamp has formed. A pocket swamp is formed when “water travels to the coast via inland streams, but it pools behind dunes that block it from reaching the ocean” (Pocket Swamp. Web. ). Pocket swamps are limited to southern, central, and mid coast regions. These…

music in the background was playing had me intrigued and kept me staying for more. It was an eerie, spooky, dark melody. The film starts off showing an absolutely beautiful almost Victorian home. Two quarter moon windows that peaked out like eyes and two more windows right below each. There white…
