    I have known since I was young that I needed to have a career in the medical field. I was and still am fascinated by the human body, I enjoyed helping others, and there seemed to be something different to see everyday. The same still applies today but, I have one more reason for wanting to pursue a bachelor’s of science degree in nursing: I want to be able to provide the type of care that has been given to myself and my family time and time again. In the last decade, we have had our fair share of health issues but, the nurses have consistently remained kind, compassionate, and caring no matter where we were. These men and women impacted and inspired me so greatly that I want to dedicate my life to serving others.
