later, and I have played for hundreds of people as a member of an ensemble and a soloist. Playing the violin has reminded me that there is always room for improvement and work to be done. There are few things more rewarding than finally mastering a new piece to play at solo and ensemble contest or even on the stage of the National American Miss Texas Junior Teen pageant. I love being able to read a piece of music for the first time and meeting others who possess as deep as a passion for music as I do.
