    Heroines In Literature A heroine is a women noted for courageous acts, she has special achievements, or personal qualities. Two well-known authors, Madeleine L’Engle, and Suzanne Collins, each use a heroine figure as the main characters for their two stories, “A Wrinkle in time” by L’Engle, and “The Hunger Games” by Collins.
