The NFL is taking it more serious than ever and are calling more illegal hits on players. The NFL spotters have been paying more attention to concussions on replays since the 2015 season because they are getting more serious.Also, there are better helmets in the NFL that will help prevent concussions.There are several suggestions that people thought about for a better football helmet but very few went through prototype. Riddell Helmets has invented a helmet that has a better way to protect athletes from concussions, The helmet is called Concussion Reduce Technology or CRT. That may be the future of helmets but scientists looked at NFL footage of hits that caused a concussion and think if they put more padding on the side of the helmet it will reduce concussions also.
