What is the "Great Man Theory"?
States that history is influenced by great men who have lived in the world, leaders of men, modelers. These mens actions shaped the world. Ex. Alexander the Great, Confucius, Julius Caesar, Jesus Christ, Napoleon, and Karl Marx
What is Economic Determinism?
Orginated by Karl Marx (who also invented communism), states that history is influenced by money or the pursuit or lack of money. And ecnomic consideration is the main focus of historic events. Solution to these problems are violent and/or changes the balance of the times. Karl stated that there are 2 people: owners and workers.
