Containment

Containment was a United States policy using numerous strategies to prevent the spread of communism abroad.

Bourgeoisie

the middle class, typically with reference to its perceived materialistic values or conventional attitudes.

Nationalism

The strong belief that the interests of a particular nation-state are of primary importance. (The better interests of the country are more important than a man's life, etc.)

Imperialism

a policy of extending a country's power and influence through diplomacy or military force.

War of Attrition

a military strategy in which a belligerent attempts to win a war by wearing down the enemy to the point of collapse through continuous losses in personnel and materiel

Blitzkreig

( German: “lightning war”) military tactic to disorient enemy by attacking in multiple short burst rounds with heavy damage and many weapons. Used to overwhelm enemy.

Totalitarianism
