Epiphyseal plate & functions
Site at which on length occurs; located between the Epiphysis and diaphysis of a long bone; area of cartilage where cartilage is followed by ossification (growth plate)
What is remodeling of the bone&what steps are involved?
When a bone is broken a clot forms, blood vessels and cells invade the clot and produce and they the client and produce a network of fibers in cartilage called callus.
Osteoblasts enters the callus, and form spongy bone, most of the spongy bone is slowly remodel to form compact bone the repair is complete
What are the categorized joints
Joints is a functional classification based on a degree of motion.
Synarthrosis- non movable joint
Amphiarthrosis- slightly moveable joint.

Fibrous- consists of two bones that are united by fibrous tissue and exhibit little or no movement .
