Continental System
|
Napoleon declares a blocade of the European coastline. Any ship coming into Europe would be stopped by French ships to be inspected for supplies to England. It is an attempt to distroy their economy. Blockade only exists on paper. It doesn’t prevent trade with US and Portugal.

he faces an overwhelming opponent 2:1 they didn’t allow him to divide them, battle lasts three days. Last day they launch a huge assault and overwhelm him. They chase him all the way back to Paris. On last day of march allies get into Paris. Napoleon continuing to flee. he gives himself up outside of Paris.

The naval commander decided to open fire on Turkish fleet and annihilate it. 2. this was basically a declaration of war. Russian declare war. Turkey is forced to sign a treaty recognizing there independence. Greece is the first state to achieve independence. |
