|

This principle guarantees mobility rights. Under the existing act, those insured by the health care system are covered (at their home province rate)for health care wherever they may be inside or outside of Canada

Comprehensiveness
|
The act covers all “medically necessary services.” If services are medically necessary, Canadian nationals are entitled
to them but cannot purchase them; if they are not medically necessary, Canadian nationals are not entitled to them but can purchase them |

Accountability
|

Canadians will be provided with a transparent accountof how the system is administered, financed, and delivered and of who has responsibility for what |
