Explain what happens during evaporation?
Water is heated by the sun and the water begins to change into water vapor.
What are the three processes involved in the water cycle?
The three processes are evaporation, condensation, and precipitation.
Do we get brand new water?
No.......The water we have is the water we will always have. That is why we have the water cycle.
What happens when water vapor condenses?
Water vapor changes into small water droplets and begins to form clouds.
Where does the energy that drives the water cycle come from?
The energy comes from the sun.
How much of the earth is covered with water?
The Earth is covered with 3/4th water or 75% of the earth is made of water.
Who depends on the water cycle?
All living things depend on the water cycle.
How does precipitation occur?
The condensation in the clouds gets heavier and soon the cloud will burst and produce precipitation.
