1. Benign (part of speech and definition)
adjective- kind and gentle. The benign man gave his kindness to the young boy in need.
cordiality (part of speech, definitiona and sentence)
noun- sincere affection and kindness. The man was full of cordiality when he helped the girl who had fallen off of her bike.
dismember (part of speech, definition, and sentence)
noun- To dismember someone is to tear or cut that person's limbs off. The dismember was a cannibal who tore people apart with his bear hands and teeth.
edification (part of speech, definition,a nd sentence)
noun- education; instruction. In my school, we get good edification, but the tuition is very high.
ensue (part of speech, definition, and sentence)
adjective- Something that ensues is something that comes immediately after something else. Math tests ensue my science test every Friday.
gape (part of speech, definition, and sentence)
verb- To gape at someone is to stare at that person with your mouth open. The young man gaped at me because he thought I was so beautiful.
inquisitive (part of speech, sentence, and definition)
adjective- questioning; prying. The man was inquisitive, because he was asking me every question in the world.
kudzu (part of speech, definition, and sentence)
noun- a quick-growing vine with large leaves, often found in the Southern United States. I eat kudzu every night for dinner, because it is better than regular grapes!
mailgnant (part of speech, definition and sentence)
adjective- dangerous; evil. The malignant man had many plans to kill people.
placid (part of speech, sentence, and definition)
adjective- calm; quiet. The placid man did not talk to me the entire 5 hours I was with him.
prowess (part of speech, definition, and sentence)
noun- superior ability or skill. The man was full of prowess, because he had mastered all of the moves, and no on eels knew any.
ramshackle (part of speech, definition and sentence)
adjective- loose or rickety; about to fall apart. The ramshackle home had been around for over 2000 years.
rigid (part of speech, definition, and sentence)
adjective- stiff. Most rulers are rigid and plain old boring, but mine is flexible, and it is called a bendy ruler.
quibble (part of speech, definition, and sentence)
verb- a type of arguing where you avoid the main point by bringing up petty details. When we were arguing and the man was quibbling and brought up the topic of his daughter in law.
tacit (part of speech, definition, and sentence)
adjective- almost always silent. The man was tacit, and rarely ever said any words.
