What happens when bright light stimulates the eye?
Parasympathetic fibers in from the Oculomotor (3) stimulate the sphincter papillae muscle causing a decrease in the size of the pupil
What happens when the light is dim?
Sympathetic neurons stimulate dilator pupillae muscle causing an increase in pupil size
