What is General Biology?
The areas that intend to clarify the studies of things that are coomon to all forms of life.
What is Comparative Biology?
The areas in biology that intend to clarify the evolutionary history of either some group of organisma or a set of characters. It looks at the diversity of life and are interested in history of diversity.
What is evolution?
A change in anything.
What is Biological evolution?
Changes in allele frequencies in populations through time; it is an inherited change in organisms. It occurs in populations and not individuals.
What is natural selection?
it is the action of the environment of a population that causes differences in survival and reproduction of individuals in that population. It is presumed to be the primary cause of evolution.
